Annette.jpg

Aerial Instructor

Annette Swamp is the owner of The Fly Factory.  Living the first part of her life as a young wife, an Educational Counselor and then a stay at home mom. Her passion for Aerial Fitness came later in life proving the statement true, it’s never too late to live your dream.

Her fitness background includes that of a gym rat that took her in the direction of becoming a bikini fitness competitor and finalist in Fitness America at both regional & national levels.

The chance to step outside her comfort zone led her to her first aerial hoop class.  She fell hard & quickly became addicted, which  inspired her to set new goals in life.  She became a certified Aerial Hoop/Lyra instructor shortly after. Her love however grew to include Acro, Pole Fitness, Aerial Hammock and taking that leap to open her 1st Aerial Studio.  She also achieved her teaching certifications in Pole Fitness,  Aerial Hammock, RYT 200 and Assisted Thai Yoga.

Annette looks forward to meeting each of you to introduce and share her love of Aerial Arts and all of its amazing benefits.

Mai.jpg

Pole Fitness Instructor

Mai took her first pole class in Japan, her home country, where she immediately fell in love.  She moved to Boise, Idaho the following year and took her first class at Ophidia Studio the very next day. Initially she worked as a front desk concierge, supporting students and in charge of retail merchandising. Mai took full advantage of life in a pole studio and when the opportunity arose she began teaching.

When she was small, she wanted to learn ballet but it did not happen for family matters. As an adult she took hip hop and belly dance classes and enjoyed watching figure skating.  While not having any formal dance background, she believes that her “passion and love of dance” as well as persistence and willingness to work hard, truly paid off.

In her first PSO competition in 2019 she commanded the stage taking home the gold in the level 3 Championship. She also performed two years in a row in a Pole Showcase directed by a talented local pole Dance Company in Boise.

Mai loves to work on fluid transitions and flexible pole tricks. She also completed RYT200 Yoga teacher training in 2022. She’s excited to share the art of pole dancing at The Fly Factory so everyone can see the beauty of the sport.

Whitney, started taking pole fitness classes in 2017 and immediately became obsessed. Pole Fitness has become her favorite creative outlet. It’s a challenging sport that has provided her with levels of confidence, flexibility, and strength she never imagined.

Whitney spent years learning pole in classes and on her own.  She even turned her dining room into her own pole studio because who needs a dining room! Whitney completed her teaching certification in 2021 through CirqFIT.

"I LOVE TEACHING AT THE FLY FACTORY. "

It is a beautiful community that allows women to become stronger physically and mentally. We’ve built a support team that loves to see you succeed here but along the way became a family to me.

Kimberly.JPG

Pole Fitness Instructor

Kimberly started her pole journey in 2021 as a new and different way to workout and stay in shape. She immediately fell in love with the sport and this love eventually led to her becoming an instructor. Despite having no background with dance or gymnastics; she built her knowledge base from the ground up, and brings that building foundation perspective to her teaching style.

As an instructor, it is her mission to bring inspiration, unlock strength, and instill mass amounts of self confidence to her students! She teaches Intro to Pole, a beginnerseries and Sassy Pole.  Kimberly believes that pole dance is achievable for every BODY and can’t wait to share her knowledge with you.

Heather.jpg

Aerial Hoop Instructor

Heather started taking aerial classes in November 2020 for a fun and different way to workout. She immediately fell in love with every aerial apparatus that she tried, which lead her to pursue her teaching certification. Heather is a Cirqfit certified instructor with the philosophy that aerials are for everyone!

Throughout her aerial training, she saw her body composition change as she became stronger. She hopes that her journey will inspire body positivity and confidence in those that she teaches. She will be your biggest cheerleader with her supportive energy.

Heather works in Human Resources during the day and spends as much time as she can at the studio to practice her love of all things aerial. She looks forward to flying with you!

Erynn.jpg

Aerial Hoop Instructor

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Erynn got her first taste of aerial in college when she took an aerial silks class at the University at Buffalo’s theater department. She never expected to find herself back in the air, but after trying an aerial hoop class with Annette in early 2020, she fell in love and never looked back.

Erynn completed the CirqFit Lyra (aerial hoop) teacher training in April 2021 and promptly took a break from training to have her son. She credits her confidence and strength to her aerial training and to the supportive community she found at The Fly Factory.

Erynn encourages everyone to try an aerial class because it is the most fun, challenging, and rewarding way to stay active. Now a proud mom, Erynn is excited to be back in the air and to share her passion for aerial arts and fitness, and cannot wait to work with the wonderful students at The Fly Factory!
